Overview And Experience
Samuel graduated summa cum laude from Susquehanna University in 1968 and cum laude from the University of Chicago Law School in 1971. In law school he was an Associate Editor of the Law Review and was a member of the Order of the Coif, a national legal honor society. In 1972 he completed a judicial clerkship with Judge (later U.S Supreme Court Justice) John Paul Stevens of the United States Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit. His areas of practice have included general practice, municipal law, school law, trusts and estates, real estate and public sector labor and employment law. He is a member of the bar of the United States Supreme Court, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, The United States Courts of Appeal for the 3rd and 7th Circuits, and the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the Pennsylvania and Somerset County Bar Associations.
